Welcome to the Oak Island Coffee House and our rendition of everything Oak Island. This web site will hopefully reflect a 3 year passion for the Oak Island Mystery. To include the people we have had the pleasure of meeting, who are associated with the mystery as well as our personal experiences. We have attempted to create a setting that makes most everyone feel welcome, not overwhelmed and leave feeling they've learned something about the mystery (we reserve the right to remove anyone intent on disrupting the atomosphere. We do not take the position that anything goes here. There are other web sites that do and I recommend you go there instead of causing trouble trying to convince people here that it is a figment of our imagination. This is a web site for those who believe in Oak Island).
Hopefully people come here willing to learn as well as share what they may have learned about Oak Island and sharing something special about themselves too. Most importantly, in a relaxing atmosphere, hence the name "Oak Island Coffee House".
Please be patient as Rome wasn't built in a day and getting everything in order here won't happen over night either. In time we hope to be able to present the mystery as best we have come to understand it. Hopefully to be accompanied by unique photos and up to date accounts of the present day treasure hunt as best as possible. We have no insiders privileges other then the benevolence of those who know more then us and who have been gracious with as much as can be told at this point. (I think it safe to say that not everyone personally involved with the mystery is foolish enough to show there hand at any point to just anybody and I don't blame them, I wouldn't either )
So with that said I hope everyone will treat this site as there own, share as much as you feel comfortable with and come here feeling welcome because you believe and love the Oak Island Mystery same as us. Sincerely,

Oak Island treasure hunt begins again |

Digging has resumed on famed Oak Island for the first time in 17 years.
Dan Blankenship, who shares ownership of the island, confirmed drilling has resumed.
“We’ve already done some exploratory drilling,” he said. “We began sometime in February on a new site.”
This is also the first drilling project with his new partners, Marty Lagina, Craig Tester, Rick Lagina and Alan Kostrzewa, oil barons also known as The Michigan Group. They currently own about 78 per cent of the island.
Mr. Blankenship said right now he would rather not disclose the location of the new drill site. |

October 16, 2007 - Oak Island Tours Inc, have finally received their Treasure Trove License from the government of Nova Scotia. This allow them to persue the treasure hunting. Check our forums more information as it becomes available! |
